Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival has released its lineup of bands for this weekend’s event. Sponsored by the Grant Park Conservancy, the festival will feature live music both Saturday and Sunday of such artists as Blair Crimmins, Jimmy Galloway, Cicada Rhythm and Mausiki Scales and the Common Ground Collective.

The festival, in its 17th year, is free and will also include a 5K run, local food trucks and a VIP tent with catered food.

The scheduled lineup is as follows.

Cherokee Stage 

Saturday, August 24 

10:30 a.m.: Yoga

12:00 p.m.: Pharr

1:00 p.m.: Yes Ma’am

1:55 p.m.: Jimmy Galloway

2:50 p.m.: The Front Porch Session Players

4:05 p.m.: R.A.H

5:00 p.m.: ASH

6:00 p.m.: Samba Tipo Exportação

7:00 p.m.: Mausiki Scales and the Common Ground Collective

8:30 p.m.: Lil John Roberts Presents Stripped

Sunday, August 25

12:00 p.m.: Brother Moon

1:15 p.m.: Captain Crimmins

2:25 p.m.: COT Band

3:50 p.m.: Cicada Rhythm

5:10 p.m.: Blair Crimmins
