Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

Atlanta is a city bursting with creative energy,
a city that never stops burning.

But here’s the thing about fire: It needs oxygen. Take that away, and even the brightest flame burns out. At ARTS ATL, our mission is to guide audiences to the best art Atlanta has to offer and, in doing so, to breathe air to those artistic fires burning throughout this thriving, diverse city.

We know life is hectic, and there are a million cool and creative things going on in the city. We help you sort through them at our Arts Events Calendar, finding what speaks to you. We also bring you the unexpected, the new, the up-and-coming, helping you discover your next favorite homegrown artist, musician or filmmaker through our independent arts journalism.

Since 2009, ARTS ATL has been the only publication offering independent, comprehensive coverage of the arts in Atlanta across our six coverage areas: Art & Design, Music, Film & TV, Theater, Dance and Books. Here, you’ll find interviews, in-depth reviews and analysis of theater, trap and everything in between. (Our Statement of Editorial Independence.)

We are a nonprofit, and as part of our mission, we also work to guide artists through the Atlanta creative scene, connecting creators to resources and to each other, all in the service of keeping the fire burning.

ArtsATL is seeking qualified volunteer Board and Artist Advisory Council members to help steer our nonprofit organization.

All are welcome to apply. We are particularly seeking those with experience in finance and accounting for our Board of Directors. Learn more and fill out our short application by clicking here.
