Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

Picture the Dream ends its run at the High Museum of Art on November 8. The exhibition is the first of its kind to explore the events, people and themes of the civil rights movement as seen through children’s picture books. Picture the Dream is guest-curated by award-winning author Andrea Davis Pinkney and marks the High’s fifth collaboration with the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Massachusetts. $14.50; members and under age 6 free. Timed tickets must be reserved in advance.

Good TroubleAtlanta Celebrates Photography’s 2020 Ones to Watch exhibition, continues through November 28 at MINT Gallery @ MET Atlanta. Race, gender, identity, beauty and social equity are dominant themes in the work of the 11 young photographers represented — Rosie Brock, Alexis Childress, Patrick DiRito, Genevieve Gaignard, Antonio Johnson, Marissa Leshnov, Brandon McClain, Savana Ogburn, Parker Reinecker, Jackson Stewart and Joshua Stewart. MINT is at 680 Murphy Ave. S.W.
