Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

ajffThe Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF), founded 14 years ago by the American Jewish Committee Atlanta (AJC Atlanta), has become an independent nonprofit organization.

“Our newfound independence puts AJFF squarely in the marketplace of other great Atlanta arts institutions and international film festivals, and best positions us to explore future programming opportunities,” says executive director Kenny Blank, who has overseen the festival’s growth over the last 10 years and will remain at the helm.

AJFF will continue to partner with AJC Atlanta, serving as a platform for dialogue among ethnic, religious and national communities. “Our local bridge-building has always been enhanced by the film festival, and we look forward to continuing to see the fruits of this partnership,” says AJC Atlanta president Lauren Grien.

“The film festival could never have achieved the success it has today without the foundational support of AJC [Atlanta],” says Blank. “Going forward as distinctive partner organizations allows both AJC and AJFF to focus on what we do best, and together take full advantage of our strengths.”

The 2015 festival will run January 28 to February 19. Click here for the schedule.
