The Atlanta Master Chorale will host a free virtual concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday (February 12) in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The live mini-concert, led by artistic director Eric Nelson, will feature songs of love by the entire chorale plus individual performances. The “Love Is Here to Stay” mini-concert will be available on the Atlanta Master Chorale’s YouTube channel.


Emory University’s annual Emory Jazz Fest will begin at 8 p.m. Friday with a free livestreamed concert by jazz guitarist Bobby Broom (pictured). He’ll be joined by Kenny Davis on bass and Gary Motley on piano. The concert is part of the Schwartz artist-in-residence program. Broom has performed with the likes of Art Blakey, Dave Grusin, Hugh Masekela and Sonny Rollins, and has led his own Chicago-based triosince 1990. Broom will also teach a master class at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Both events are free, but registration is required.
