Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

Prior to the iconic Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park on May 25–26, the Atlanta Jazz Festival partners with venues all over the city to promote jazz events for 31 consecutive days leading up to the main event. From MARTA stations, museums, jazz clubs and restaurants, the 31 Days of Jazz series provides a taste of what’s to come.

Former mayor Maynard Jackson, the first black mayor of Atlanta and of any major Southern city, founded the Atlanta Jazz Festival in 1978 to celebrate jazz legends and feature up-and-coming jazz performers in venues throughout Atlanta and to promote the art form that originated in the South.

Here is the full schedule of where to find jazz for 31 days leading up to the Memorial Day weekend festival.
