Each week, ArtsATL curates a selection of the most exciting arts and culture events happening in Atlanta this weekend, highlighting nine must-see experiences.

Thursday
Snow White & The Seven Morphs!
This marks Arís Theatre’s third annual foray into the wonderful and wacky world of panto, a beloved theater tradition on the other side of the Atlantic. In this take on the classic fairy tale, she gets into the usual trouble all right, but this time with some rather unusual companions, drawn from popular fandoms of sci-fi and fantasy. It opens December 11 and continues through December 28.
Mamma Dearest! Here We Joan Again
This Joan Crawford-themed holiday comedy, written by Blake Fountain, is at Out Front Theatre Company from December 11 through December 21.
The Morehouse College Glee Club, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra come together for a concert of hymns, carols and festive cheer. Performances are at 8 p.m. December 11; 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. December 13; and 3 p.m. December 14 at Symphony Hall.
Since 2017, Y’allmark Christmas has delighted Atlanta audiences with its clever, improvised spin on our favorite guilty pleasure, the made-for-TV holiday movie. It’s a Dad’s Garage production, but performances take place at 7 Stages Theatre from December 11 through December 27.
Friday
City Springs Theatre Company rolls out a new production of the beloved tale from December 12 through December 28, directed by Tony winner Baayork Lee. The staging of the L. Frank Baum classic includes all the songs from the movie and a Christmas Eve matinee.

Cat Eye Creative’s Presents is a group exhibition with artists such as Artsy Elaine, Dr. Dax, Chris Veal and Evereman, opening with a reception from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on December 12. It will be on view through January 4.
Saturday
TT Mahony and Jeffrey Butzer return with one of Atlanta’s favorite holiday traditions. They’ll bring the show to three metro Atlanta venues this year. The first is at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth at 8 p.m. December 13. Next up, catch them at Madlife Stage & Studios at 7:30 p.m. December 16. The season wraps up with four shows at the EARL in East Atlanta at 8:30 p.m. December 18, December 19, December 20 and December 21.
Atlanta Women’s Chorus: Season of Light
Season of Light is the chorale ensemble’s tribute to hope, unity and renewal during the holiday season, featuring a blend of beloved carols, multicultural gems and contemporary choral works. They’ll perform at the Church at Ponce and Highland at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. December 13.
This annual holiday celebration returns to Avondale Estates with live music and performances, holiday crafts and treats and more at local businesses, including Christmas ornament crafting at the Avondale Arts Center. The event begins at 11 a.m. December 13.

It opens with a reception from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. December 12 at The Supermarket. It will be on view through December 21 … Michelle Malone and the Hot Toddies will bring their Christmas party cheer to Eddie Owen Presents at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth at 8 p.m. December 12 … The ATL Collective Presents A Very 90’s Mariah Holiday live at Eddie’s Attic at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on December 13 … Mindy Smith’s An Acoustic Christmas will feature songs from both of her Christmas records, My Holiday and Snowed In. It takes place at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur at 6 p.m. December 14 … Join violinist Helen Kim, cellist Charae Krueger and pianists Julie Coucheron and William Ransom for Santa’s Favorite Chamber Music at the Michael C.
