Atlanta Symphony Orchestra violinist David Coucheron and Emory University pianist William Ransom will livestream at noon Friday, for the latest concert in the Bach’s Lunch Concert series from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. The duo will perform the first two of Johannes Brahms’ Sonatas for Piano and Violin. The performance — presented by the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta — is free and can be seen live or any time after the concert ends.
Bent Frequency, generally considered the premier new-music group in the Southeast, will livestream at 7 p.m. April 1 a performance of works by six female composers of Jewish heritage. A roundtable discussion with the musicians and composers follows the Breman Museum’s “Mirrors (Mare’ot)” program. Bent Frequency, formed in 2003, is an ensemble-in-residence at Georgia State University led by co-artistic directors Jan Berry Baker and Stuart Gerber. Free. Registration is required.
