Starting today, a new podcast will bring listeners an opportunity to learn more about Atlanta and the region’s arts offerings. ATL Arts Collective, a partnership between ArtsATL and Executive Producer and host Kim Drobes, will dive headfirst into Atlanta’s vibrant cultural scene.

Executive Editor Shane Harrison will contribute a weekly best bets segment based on ArtsATL’s 9 essential arts events story. Senior Editor Isadora Pennington will discuss the upcoming illumine event at Oakland Cemetery during the initial podcast, while another segment will spotlight the immersive Smoke at Goat Farm. We’ll also have Chad Radford on Record Store Day, a spot on National Poetry Month and Atlanta band The Yum Yum Tree discussing their new album.

Drobes’ first co-host will be Jon Goode, with whom she worked on City Lights Collective. Other co-hosts will include former City Lights host Lois Reitzes, with contributions from ArtsATL editors and writers and various members of the local arts community.

The ATL Arts Collective will be available on ArtsATL.org and other major podcast platforms, with episodes dropping every Wednesday morning.
