Beth Hyland’s play was inspired by Anton Chekhov’s classic Russian tragicomedy Uncle Vanya and will have its world premiere on the Alliance Theatre’s Hertz Stage through March 2. The event takes place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on February 27 in Castleberry Hill.

The ensemble’s Lute and Strings by Candlelight will spotlight Vivaldi’s Lute Concerto in D Major, RV 93, and will also include music by Vivaldi’s contemporaries.
