Beyond the Facade is a documentary-style film directed by Atlanta resident Tiara Jamison, delving deep into the hidden world of human trafficking, specifically in Atlanta. The documentary takes audiences on a harrowing journey through interconnected narratives to present a vivid, thought-provoking portrait of exploitation in its various forms.

“Beyond the Facade isn’t just a lifeline for women and young girls . . .  It’s a vehicle for awareness, a glimpse beyond the neon nights into the shadows where generational abuse festers,” said Jamison in a press release. “When I embarked on this journey, it was with an unwavering commitment to confront the uncomfortable truths that society often chooses to overlook.”

Local screenings are planned for early December.
