SheATL Summer Theatre Festival 2026

The 2026 SheATL Summer Theater Festival will present three new full-length plays: Bénédiction by Beverley Sylvester; dog song by Katie Myers; and Queerly Departed by Ian “El” Trutt. The Festival will also feature one full-length original musical: Rootbound, book and lyrics by Zoe Howard, music by Stephen Anthony Elkins.

“From a Paris nightclub unraveling into ritual to an Appalachian homestead threatened by something wilder than nature — these writers are telling stories that can only live onstage, and that are so personal to the South. I can’t wait for Atlanta audiences to experience them.” — Danielle DeMatteo, Founder & Artistic Director, SheNYC Arts
