Radiant Mercy: Life, Love and the Human Spirit
October 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$25
Johns Creek Chorale opens its exciting season with an inspirational concert filled with beauty, passion and some of the best choral music ever written.
The luminous performance brings together powerful works by Leonard Bernstein, Eric Whitacre, Maurice Duruflé, and Henryk Górecki—music that explores compassion, joy, faith and what it means to be human.
The broad-ranging musical journey includes familiar selections of modern American pieces such as Somewhere from West Side Story and Paul Simon’s The Sound of Silence. The evening culminates in Bernstein’s extraordinary Chichester Psalms, which stands among the 20th century’s greatest choral masterpieces.
