On Sunday, September 27, the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival (AWFF) fills 7 Stages Theatre in Little Five Points with a full day of short films, live table reads, industry panels, workshops, and the awards ceremony. Now in its sixth year, the festival is celebrating what has become one of Atlanta’s most welcoming gatherings for storytellers—and everyone who loves them. A full 9am–9pm schedule means attendees can move between the Mainstage and the Black Box at their own pace. It’s built for people who want to soak it all in—and for newcomers who’ve never seen a women-centered festival up close.
