Your Source For The Arts In Atlanta

The Forsyth Indian Dance Festival will livestream at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (November 21) and 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday (November 22). The festival will feature traditional dances with performers from Forsyth, Georgia, St. Louis and India. Award-winning dance gurus Sushma Mohan (pictured above), Prasanna Kasthuri, Pulikeshi Kasthuri will be featured along with five Forsyth County dance schools. The festival is free, hosted by the Soorya Foundation for Performing Arts with a grant from the Forsyth County Arts Alliance. 


The Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta hosts a noon concert Friday (November 20) that will be livestreamed from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. The concert continues the chamber music society’s yearlong Beethoven 2020 series celebrating the 250th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Cellist Charae Krueger, violinist David Coucheron, and pianists Elizabeth Pridgen and William Ransom will play Cello Sonata No. 5 and the Kreutzer Sonata for violin. The event will be archived and available for viewing after the performance.
