Mark Dion, who blurs the boundaries among natural history, art and science, will speak at 5:30 p.m. in the Kopleff Recital Hall at Georgia State University. His talk kicks off “Nature of Waste,” a project that will culminate in a symposium on April 15.

“Copper–Coloured Gold,” a performance by IngridMwangiRobertHutter at the opening of the two-member collective’s “Constant Triumph” at Spelman College Museum of Fine Art. 7 p.m.
