A holiday tradition continues with A Christmas Carol on Alliance Theatre’s Coca-Cola Stage. November 15 through December 24.

November 23

The national tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage brings the Peanuts gang to Atlanta Symphony Hall at 3 p.m. on November 23

A Magical Cirque Christmas is a variety show full of nostalgia and charm where world-class entertainers perform to your favorite holiday music. See it at 5 p.m. on November 23 at the Fox Theatre.

November 28-December 21

The very last Christmas Canteen with co-founder and producing Artistic Director Ann-Carol Pence takes place at Aurora Theatre, November 28 through December 21.

December 4-23

A Christmas Carol Reimagined offers a bold retelling of Dickens’ beloved classic, filled with soaring music and stunning visuals. It comes to the Gas South Theater on December 4, December 22 and December 23.

December 5-24

Woodstock Arts Theatre presents Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, December 5 through December 24

December 6

Puppet Guy Productions presents Trouble in Toyland, where the elves are on strike, Rudolph has a cold and Santa has lost his laugh. See it at Aurora Theatre on December 6.

December 6-23

Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is back at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse from December 6 through December 23.

December 6-31

In Madeline’s Christmas, the girls come down with the flu, and, as they take to their beds, many wonder if they will be able to go home for Christmas. See it at Horizon Theatre. December 6 through December 31.

December 11-28

Arís Theatre’s Snow White & The Seven Morphs! is the company’s third annual foray into the wonderful and wacky world of panto, a beloved theater tradition on the other side of the Atlantic. In this take on the classic fairy tale, she gets into the usual trouble all right, but this time with some rather unusual companions, drawn from popular fandoms of sci-fi and fantasy. 

December 12-28

City Springs Theatre Company rolls out a new production of The Wizard of Oz from December 12 through December 28, directed by Tony winner Baayork Lee. The staging of the L. Frank Baum classic includes all the songs from the movie and even a Christmas Eve matinee.

December 16-20

Elf The Musical, inspired by the hit film, is the heartwarming tale of Buddy, a young orphan child whose life is changed forever when he mistakenly crawls into Santa’s sack of toys one Christmas Eve. It’s on stage at the Fox Theatre from December 16 through December 20.
