PLAY: Voices of AAPI is a contemporary cross-cultural live concert experience presented by Magic Eastern Ensemble during AAPI Heritage Month in Metro Atlanta.
The performance brings together guzheng, dizi, live band, jazz, cinematic music, and modern crossover performance into one shared stage experience.
Featuring Atlanta-based guest artists and musicians from diverse musical backgrounds, the concert explores how traditional instruments can naturally exist within today’s contemporary live music scene.
In addition to crossover arrangements and collaborative works, this year’s performance will also feature the live band debut of four original compositions written for the project.
PLAY will take place on May 23, 2026 at Roswell Cultural Arts Center with support from the City of Roswell and Roswell Cultural Arts Center.
