Enter Sacred Breaths, an immersive installation by conceptual artist Bea Lamar that invites you to explore the unseen connections between humans and nature. As you walk into this serene greenhouse, your presence transforms the environment—the ambient colors shift and flow in response to your movements and breaths. The air you share with the plants subtly alters the atmosphere, making the invisible dance of life visible.

By blending ancestral wisdom with modern science, Sacred Breaths creates a space where art and ecology intertwine. In collaboration with environmental scientist Dr. Eri Saikawa and the Saikawa Lab, real-time air quality measurements influence the installation’s lighting, reflecting the delicate balance within this miniature ecosystem.

You are also invited to visit the installation online, where a live-streamed study compares indoor and outdoor air data in real time until the end of the exhibit.
