Thursday

Peerless

For fans of the experimental, Theater Emory presents Peerless, a dark comedy about Asian American twin sisters, from November 13 through November 23.

Labyrinth

KSU Dance Company will celebrate 20 years with Labyrinth, a dynamic program of four works by faculty and guest choreographers Ivan Pulinkala, Shannon Alvis, Autumn Eckman and Yankalle Filtser. The performances, designed to honor the program’s history and embrace the creativity of the future, will happen from November 13 through November 15.

Friday

The Lost World: The Art of Minnie Evans

At the High Museum of Art, don’t miss the fantastical works by the North Carolina artist who was among the first Black artists to have a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1975. The show opens on November 14 and will be on view through April 19.

Nnenna Freelon 

Jazz at All Saints’ continues its second season with a performance by nine-time Grammy nominee and jazz vocalist Nnenna Freelon at All Saints Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. on November 14.

Hadestown

The Tony Award-winning musical intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — as it journeys to the underworld and back. It’s at the Fox Theater from November 14 through November 16.

Empire

Off The Wall @ 725 Ponce wraps its 2025 season at 7 p.m. on November 14 and November 15 as it lights up the largest screen in the South with Phil Solomon’s remake of Andy Warhol’s Empire as seen from high atop the Manhattan Island of Grand Theft Auto IV (“Liberty City”).

Saturday

The Branford Marsalis Quartet

The acclaimed saxophonist brings his ensemble to Spivey Hall on the campus of Clayton State University in Morrow at 7:30 p.m. on November 15.

Atlanta Opera: La Belle et la Bete

The Atlanta Opera will take on the Philip Glass opera La Belle et la Bete, which includes a screening of the Jean Cocteau film, on November 15 as part of the Discoveries series.

Sunday

The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show

Drag queen powerhouses BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon return to town with their successful touring holiday show at 7 p.m. on November 16 at the Eastern.
