Make that theaters. The metro area boasts more than 30 companies, and we’re here to tell you about them through reviews and previews of performances and profiles of those who appear on the stage and those who make it happen behind the scenes. Let’s give our theater community a (metaphorical) and ArtsATL a (monetary) hand at our fund-raiser, Spotlight Night, a cocktail party from 7 to 9 p.m. on March 24.                                                                                              

Ingrid ColeIt will be an evening to mingle with theater people (we’ve invited representatives to attend) as pianist Robert Strickland tickles the ivories.

Ingrid Cole, a Suzi-winning actress, will belt out a set of show tunes.

34516_412875936143_7308826_nOut of Hand Theater will reprise its hilarious performance “The Break Up,” which was a hit at our 2011 fundraiser. Willing individuals can enjoy an intimate theatrical experience: members of the troupe will dump you one at a time. It will be the first breakup you’ll actually enjoy.

Tickets: $50, advance purchase only. Location: a Buckhead residence. Ticketholders will be notified of the exact address.
