Country music singer Brad Paisley has returned to the road after nearly 18 months of COVID-19 inactivity. He stopped July 24 for a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta.

Paisley may be best known for his vocals and songwriting, but he’s a highly respected guitarist, too. These exclusive photos from last weekend come from ArtsATL concert photographer Perry Julien. They focus on Paisley and his trademark Fender Telecaster guitars.

Paisley has become an advocate for the COVID-19 vaccine: “It’s been a real difficult year, a nightmare for anyone who makes a living with a group of people,” Paisley said in a statement. “I feel very passionate about the chance we have for normalcy right now with the vaccine — there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I have a band and crew just waiting to get back out on the road. The more of us that take the shot, the safer it will be for all of us to gather.”

This is Julien’s first return to the photo pit since the Big Night Out outdoor concert in October at Centennial Olympic Park. We are grateful to have his photos on our pages again.
