Matthews was a protege of Atlanta icon Colonel Bruce Hampton and performed on the H.O.R.D.E. tours in the ’90s that Hampton helped organize.

::

Matthews’ first hit single, “What Would You Say,” was released in 1994.

The Dave Mathews Band performed July 23 at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Amphitheatre) in Alpharetta.

Jepsen used the “Canadian Idol” television program as a springboard to stardom.

::

Lionel Richie helped a fan with a selfie at his July 31 show at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park.

::

Richie is on tour to promote his upcoming live album from Las Vegas.
