Jazz legend Kenny Barron brings his quintet to Spivey Hall on Saturday night in support of his latest album, Concentric Circles. Barron, 76, cut his teeth with the Dizzy Gillespie Quartet and is considered one of jazz’s greatest pianists of the post-bebop era, with more than 40 albums as a leader to his credit. He is a member of the American Jazz Hall of Fame.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra takes a break from Mozart and Beethoven Friday night to perform the music of David Bowie along with a full rock band. Under conductor Brent Havens, the ASO will run through Bowie’s eclectic roster of greatest hits, including “Space Oddity,” “Changes” and “China Girl.”
