Join Pete the Cat and his menagerie of friends on a groovy adventure based on the New York Times best-selling children’s book series by Georgia authors James and Kimberly Dean. The Center for Puppetry Art’s adaptation creates a “day in the life” of Pete by using selected scenes from some of the most popular books in the series. To celebrate the opening weekend, author James Dean will make a special guest appearance at the center for a book signing and post-show Q&A on Saturday, April 4. The book signing is at noon, followed by a special 1 p.m. performance of Pete the Cat that includes the post-show Q&A with James Dean and Center Artistic Director Jon Ludwig. Recommended for ages 4 and up, the show will run March 31-May 31.
