What to see and do, February 17–27

SCAD Atlanta holds deFINE Art, its annual program of speakers and exhibitions this week.

The reception for solo exhibitions of Matthew Day Jackson, Jesper Just and Naimar Ramírez begins at 7 p.m. tonight. It will be preceded by a 6 p.m. panel discussion with Jackson and Just moderated by SCAD professor Steve Aishman.

Chinese conceptual artist Xu Bing, whose work encompasses calligraphy, ink painting and installations, will deliver the keynote speech on February 19 at 6 p.m.
