DESCRIPTION:Spalding Nix Fine Art is excited to announce DOUBLE TAKE\, a presentation of 4 shows by Corrina Sephora\, Betty Edge\, Guy Robinson and Erin Dixon. \nThrough metal sculpture and mixed media paintings\, Corrina Sephora’s “Reflections on the Universe” weaves together ancestral memory and cosmic reflection\, creating Art that becomes a vessel for movement between worlds. Betty Edge’s “Encore” looks back through her photographic oeuvre\, placing together unsuspected pairings of images captured in nature. Guy Robinson’s “Animism\, Alchemy & Reflection” interrogates these ideas in his surrealist and masterful oil paintings\, creating playful and at times unsettling compositions filled with patterns\, animals\, botanicals and everyday objects. Erin Dixon’s “On Both Sides of the Door” is a series of oil paintings exploring the familiar and disparate\, creating a possible metaphor for our contemporary conditions of instability\, vulnerability and adaptation. \nPlease join us for the openings on Friday\, May 29\, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday\, May 30\, 12-4 p.m. \nDOUBLE TAKE will be on view in the gallery from May 29 – July 17. \nSpalding Nix Fine Art\, 425 Peachtree Hills Ave NE\, Suite 30A\, Atlanta\, GA 30305 \nThe gallery is open Monday – Friday\, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. or by appointment.
