SUMMARY:Footwork: Where We Gather
DESCRIPTION:Footwork: Where We Gather joins traditional sports photography with contemporary works by photographer Sheila Pree Bright\, whose new series celebrates Atlanta sports culture and uplifts the community that sport engenders. From United tailgates to the pitch\, Falcons training camp to the stands and abroad\, Pree Bright turns the camera to the fans—and through them\, to the teams they love—finding togetherness and solidarity in the places where sport becomes tradition and fans become family. \nThis exhibition is part of a broader university-wide initiative celebrating Atlanta’s vibrant sports culture as the city prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Through exhibitions\, programs\, and community partnerships\, Emory is exploring how sport fosters identity\, belonging\, and connection—on campus\, across the city\, and around the world.

SUMMARY:Reggie Hines Acoustic
DESCRIPTION:SHOWTIMES: 7:30PM AND 9:30PM. Whether he’s performing at international jazz festivals in Stockholm\, Montreux\, Bermuda and St. Lucia or closer to home in and around Atlanta\, veteran saxophonist Reggie Hines always asks his audience the key question: “How many of you want to go on a musical journey?” Though while commanding the stage\, the multi-talented songwriter and musician is clearly referring to the constant sense of groove he brings to his eclectic mix of salsa\, hip-hop\, jazz\, trap\, bebop\, gospel\, funk and even classical music\, his words could also apply to his fascinating\, multi-faceted career.

SUMMARY:Seared
DESCRIPTION:With a savvy restaurant consultant and a waiter with dreams of his own added to the mix – everything starts to ignite in flames in this hilarious and insightful new play that explores what happens when art and money collide. \nAudiences will be up close to the action as the Woodstock Stage is transformed into the intimate kitchen of a New York City restaurant. SEARED is calling you into the kitchen to DISCOVER THE FIRE! \nHarry – a culinary genius with a flare for the dramatic – receives a positive review in a food magazine for his signature scallops and his business partner can see their restaurant finally making money. The catch – Harry refuses to ever make the scallops again. \nSEARED is a play that asks questions we are all deeply familiar with – what happens when the things that feel so intimately personal and our own become something that belongs to everyone? It’s also a play where we explore – intimately- the world of high-stakes cuisine\, and enter into the kitchen for a front-row look. We here at Woodstock Arts are so excited to create a fully functional kitchen onstage for this show and cook a meal for the audience to see\, hear\, and even smell! (We may not have enough portions for everyone to taste\, unfortunately).

SUMMARY:The Drowsy Chaperone
DESCRIPTION:Winner of five Tony Awards\, including Best Book and Best Original Score\, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Golden Age musical\, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another.\nWith the houselights down\, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding\, a bumbling best man\, a desperate theatre producer\, a not-so-bright hostess\, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs\, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone\, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight.

SUMMARY:F*CK THIS\, I'M GOING TO CHURCH
DESCRIPTION:Virginia-Highland Church is proud to present an all new experimental theatre performance devised by local artists titled F*CK THIS\, I’M GOING TO CHURCH taking place at Virginia-Highland Church every weekend of March. \nMarch 06 – March 28\, 2026\nFridays at 8:00pm\nSaturdays at 3:00pm and 7:00pm \nF*CK THIS\, I’M GOING TO CHURCH is an immersive\, experimental theatre experience that reclaims the idea of church as loving community\, rejecting religious dogma that preaches shame\, judgment\, oppression\, and abuse. SUMMARY:FEAST YOUR EYES - The debut Solo Art Exhibition by Sir Nicholas Lucius
DESCRIPTION:FEAST YOUR EYES: A Solo Exhibition by Sir Nicholas Lucius arrives at Gallery Anderson Smith in Atlanta on June 27\, 2026\, presenting an immersive evening where contemporary art\, haute couture\, pop surrealism\, and unapologetic glamour converge. Marking the Atlanta solo debut of Tampa-based mixed-media artist Sir Nicholas Lucius\, the exhibition unveils a new collection of one-of-one original works layered with paint\, collage\, textiles\, metallic leaf\, pearls\, diamond dust\, rhinestones\, crystals\, and couture-inspired embellishment. Each piece is created not as passive décor\, but as a commanding identity object—bold\, tactile\, emotionally charged\, and designed to transform the room around it. \nGuests will enter a richly styled gallery experience featuring an immersive installation\, live DJ\, creative cocktails\, decadent bites\, limited-edition Lucius collectibles\, photographic moments\, and opportunities to meet the artist and discover the stories behind the work. The evening begins with an intimate VIP Collector Preview at 6:00 PM\, offering collectors\, designers\, press\, and cultural tastemakers early access to view and acquire available originals before the General Admission reception from 7:00–11:00 PM. Fashion lovers\, creatives\, interior designers\, first-time buyers\, established collectors\, and anyone drawn to bold visual experiences are invited to attend. \nInspired by the theatrical imagination of Salvador Dalí\, the cultural instinct of Andy Warhol\, and the fearless craftsmanship of Alexander McQueen\, Sir Nicholas Lucius has developed a visual language that exists somewhere between a luxury fashion editorial\, a fever dream\, and a contemporary gallery spectacle. FEAST YOUR EYES is an invitation to experience art at full volume—to celebrate individuality\, fantasy\, texture\, transformation\, and the alchemy of excess. Admission is complimentary with advance reservation\, original artworks will be available for acquisition\, and guests are encouraged to arrive in elevated\, expressive\, artfully inspired attire.

SUMMARY:Atlanta Summer Organ Festival: Lynne Davis\, organist
DESCRIPTION:Though American by birth\, Lynne Davis’s career has been richly steeped in French music\, culture\, and style. Her career was launched by taking First Prize at the 1975 St. Albans International Organ Competition (England) – the eighth organist to receive that honor. As a leading international concert artist and master teacher\, she has performed in nearly every cathedral in France\, in numerous major European cities\, and coast to coast in North America. She has been invited to be a performer and lecturer at national conventions and regional conventions of the American Guild of Organists\, and as a jury member of several international organ competitions. \nFor over thirty years\, Lynne Davis made France her home\, having married Chartres International Organ Competition founder Pierre Firmin-Didot. Her unique living and working experience and lineage of study in France makes her an authority in all French organ repertoire. \nShe holds France’s Certificat d’Aptitude de Professeur d’Orgue\, has served as organ professor at the Conservatory of Music in Clamart (1990-2006) and at the French National Regional Conservatory in Caen (1997-2006). Ms. Davis then returned to the United States and joined the faculty of the Wichita State University School of Music\, holding a full professorship as the Robert L. Town Distinguished Professor of Organ. She is the artistic director of the Rie Bloomfield Organ Series – Distinguished Guest Artists and the Wednesdays in Wiedemann series. Her three CD recordings and 65 videos on the WSU Marcussen organ continue to receive critical and popular praise. \nMs. Davis graduated from the University of Michigan as a student of Robert Clark and continued her studies in France with Marie-Claire Alain then with Jean Langlais and Maurice and Marie-Madeleine Duruflé. In 2011 at Wichita State University\, she received the Excellence in Creativity Award and organized the American Alain Festival to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jehan Alain\, as well as being awarded the distinction of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. 2012 saw her receiving the medal of the city of Wichita from Mayor Carl Brewer and the Burton Pell award from the Wichita Arts Council. Her translation from French to English of the book on Jehan Alain by Aurélie Decourt-Alain is to be published in 2026. \nLynne Davis is represented in North America exclusively by Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists\, LLC.
