ArtsATL is looking for a publisher who will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site and help explore sources for new forms of revenue.
“The world of online journalism is quickly evolving,” said ArtsATL board chair Kenzie Biggins. “We are seeing the impact across the community and we want to take the proper steps to ensure ArtsATL is here for future generations. We are looking for a publisher to help continue [our] growth, and to help us explore new ways of securing revenue for our future growth beyond traditional fundraising that help us maintain our integrity in art criticism.”
The job description calls for someone with in-depth knowledge and skills in the areas of digital publications, advertising and the arts. ArtsATL seeks someone with a minimum of five years of management experience at a digital publication whose priorities will include audience development and growth, and nonphilanthropic revenue generation.
ArtsATL was founded in 2009 as a nonprofit digital publication to cover arts news in Atlanta and offer arts criticism.
