The Space Between, a new installation by Fahamu Pecou (pictured) opens Saturday (February 6) at the Hambidge Cross-Pollination Art Lab. The project seeks to depict and normalize expressions of care, concern and compassion between Black man and challenge pervasive images of Black violence and trauma. Panel discussions in which Black men share intimate stories of brotherhood and the healing power of love will join the video installation and accompanying film. 2450 Piedmont Road N.E. The Edge of the Day, featuring Rocío Rodriguez’s latest work, continues through March 20 at Sandler Hudson Gallery.
