The Space Between, a new installation by Fahamu Pecou (pictured) opens Saturday (February 6) at the Hambidge Cross-Pollination Art Lab. The project seeks to depict and normalize expressions of care, concern and compassion between Black man and challenge pervasive images of Black violence and trauma. Panel discussions in which Black men share intimate stories of brotherhood and the healing power of love will join the video installation and accompanying film. 2450 Piedmont Road N.E. Out Front Theatre Company’s virtual Role Reversal cabaret begins at 12:01 a.m. Monday (February 8). Expect songs from Falsettos, Hamilton, Mean Girls, Oklahoma! and more. The lineup includes Jen Acker, Blake Fountain, Caty Bergmark, Elliott Folds, Blake Fountain, Tyler Sarkis, Precious West and Vallea Woodbury, among others. $16.74 including fees for 72-hour access (24 hours once you start watching).
